At Melissa Jane Interiors, we specialise in elegant, liveable spaces that blend timeless style with the effortless charm of coastal Algarve living. Based in Quinta do Lago, we offer full-service interior design, from refurbishments to full villa renovations and large-scale new builds.
Founder Melissa Jane has lived and worked in Quinta do Lago since the early days of its development, giving her a unique perspective on how design in the region has evolved.
Originally from the UK, Melissa began renovating properties in Portugal to fill a clear gap in the market: turnkey, fully styled homes that are ready for clients to walk into and enjoy.
Our work has grown organically, from our first renovation projects to opening our boutique showroom Quinta Shopping, which now serves as both a design studio and inspiration space. We refresh it twice a year to reflect the latest trends and timeless elements our clients love.

Whether your property is a new build, a full renovation, or simply in need of a refresh, we begin with an on-site meeting to walk through the space together. We’ll share initial thoughts, explore your vision, and discuss the scope of the project along with how we can best support you throughout the interior design journey.

We will discuss with you the type of looks and finishes you want, and give you a series of thoughts and broad recommendations to achieve this. No two projects are the same, and the breadth of the suppliers and manufacturers that we use means that your villa will have a unique design.

Together we’ll guide you through every decision, from design specifications to furnishings and finishes, ensuring the process feels clear, collaborative, and enjoyable. With years of experience supporting clients through this stage, we’ll turn what can feel overwhelming into a confident, inspiring journey.

PLAN
We’ll provide a detailed, itemised breakdown of your interior design project, including estimated lead times and delivery schedules. Our team will manage the entire ordering process, ensuring every item arrives in the right sequence, at the right time for a seamless installation.

Throughout the project, we’ll provide regular updates on progress, timelines, and key milestones, keeping you informed every step of the way. Whether you’re based locally or overseas, you’ll receive clear communication, photo updates, and scheduling insights to ensure full transparency and peace of mind from start to finish.
